HGH or human growth hormone is naturally produced in the pituitary gland and causes growth in children and adolescents.  Healthy men typically have a little less than 5 nanograms per milliliter circulating in their blood; while healthy women may produce about twice that amount for child-bearing purposes.  These levels peak during puberty and drop substantially beginning in the early 30’s.

HGH also helps regulate:

  • Body fluids
  • Bone and muscle growth
  • Sugar and fat metabolism
  • Body composition
  • and may help regulate heart function

The benefit of HGH injections is that it can help you build muscle quicker, increase libido, and decrease body fat.  Low HGH levels or symptoms of low HGH may result in:

  • Weight Gain
  • Anxiety
  • Decreased energy levels – fatigue
  • Decreased sex drive
  • Muscle loss
  • Depression
  • Difficulty concentrating and lack of memory
  • Baldness in men
  • Elevated triglyceride levels
  • Thin, dry skin
  • Heart problems
  • Sensitivity to heat and cold
  • Insulin resistance
  • Loss of bone density
  • High cholesterol (LDL)

Although side effects are extremely rare, real HGH cannot be obtained in the United States without a prescription and doctor’s supervision.  People with certain health conditions such as tumors or cancer should not take growth hormone injections.

At Elite HRT, we will determine if you are a good candidate for HGH injections by analyzing your medical history, blood test results, and physical examination to provide you with a personalized hormone replacement therapy program tailored towards your needs.
